Read by Tiffany: After all the experimentation and observation, what if something has been missed .. what if zombie children hold the key to humanity's future? Interesting take on post-zombie-apocalypse fiction. Haunting is definitely the word for it.

Now THIS is a great take on a zombie novel. Probably my favorite in the genre. The ending...just wow. I've FINALLY read a book that ends exactly how I would end it if I'd written it myself. Kudos, Carey. Amazing piece of work.
It's always interesting getting to a novel after the masses have already made their mark - reading, consuming and passing judgment, be it positive or negative. There almost seems to be pressure to agree with what so many have said before you, as to do anything otherwise would likely be be dismissed ...
Melanie is content with her life. School five days a week, always looking forward to days with her favorite teacher, who tells the best stories. A sort-of-best-friend, an annoying boy who makes funny of her. Her own room, with a bed and a wheelchair and armed soldiers who immobilize her and call her...
I've been putting off writing the review for this book because 1. I haven't been in a reading/reviewing mood the last few months, and 2. I haven't been sure what to write. So I have decided to write a little something, which I may or may not change in the future. Mainly cause having it on my current...

Nothing new under the sun. This book was not what I expected it to be. Most of all I didn't expected to read a pretty generic zombie book. And so monotonous. I concur with other reviews that pointed out the unnecessary length of the book. I was easily bored. Or maybe I'm just not into zombie books, ...
I HATE ZOMBIE STORIES, I should get that out of the way up front. So why this book? Well, I put this book on my TBR list based on a tweet from the director of the most recent Much Ado About Nothing movie and a vague, yet promising, book blurb. If I'd waited until it was reviewed, or more detaile...
I don't know what to say without spoiling the effect of this story for you. I was struck down to my knees on this one. I went into it totally blind which is how I think it would be best read. It is not a pretty happy read, it is dark twisted filled with heart-wrenching emotional bursts. It is a dyst...
