This book was on my to-read list for a few years but I kept putting off reading it because I thought it would make me feel stupid. I am very happy to say it didn't, it is a highly readable, thought provoking book and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

If nothing else, this book has shown one of my own biases. I'd never really thought about everyone's respect (assuming they don't disagree for some reason, or aren't hostile to the person's belielfs) of other people's religions as odd. It really is an odd thing that I've never wondered why? I tend t...

I've read Richard Dawkins books and watched his videos for many years. The God Delusion was an excellent book on religion and philosophy.

There are any number of things I could criticize about the book, and it really does seem like one that wants lots of specific rebuttals. But I simply don't have that kind of time. Overall, let me say that Dawkins takes a remarkably narrow view of religion, and—I think—of human nature itself. I think...
