I liked this book overall but for me the actions of the characters at times were not very realistic which made it hard to stay in the book. I still finished and will read the next books cause I do think its a great story line. Just gets alittle lost in the writing from time to time.

This review also appears on the NerdHerdReads I'm a sucker for gorgeous covers. I'm also a huge sucker for Greco-Roman mythology. No seriously, for reals. I took all the way to Latin IV in high school because of it. Percy Jackson and the Olympians is one of my all-time favorite series. So when I...

This was a truly terrible book, but I feel so bad giving it such a low rating. It's like I just kicked a puppy. A really stupid puppy that's wet my bed for the 47th time, but still...kicking a puppy.I've read a lot of unrealistic heroines in my day, but Kate tops the list. She's not all that terribl...

I am giving it 3 stars as a compromise between my mood and the reality.I have to begin by saying that although I try to be as objective as possible when rating a book sometimes it just can't happen. The book has so many flaws that I don't know where to begin. First and foremost the greek mythology i...

This book made me a 180 degree turn about Hades to being the romantic Henry. This book was just, hands down, a definitely must read for YA lovers. I've felt that I was also taking the 7 tests set out by the council or The Olympian Gods to Kate for her to be immortal and marry Hades. I never thought ...

Enjoyable enough but I was still extremely disappointed despite my low expectations coming into the book. Some of the gods/goddesses didn't make sense - there was a lack of background around them and they didn't really match what they represented. I really didn't see enough Greek mythology in this a...

As long as you don't read this as a way to learn/read more about greek mythology then it won't piss you off. lol I'll be honest I really like this book but some of the Gods were WAY outta character. Hera? No way. No way ever. She would never want to cheat she is the goddess of marriage! The author s...
