Tanashi Akimitsu (everyone calls him Mitsu) is a smart, diligent young man. The eighteen-year-old is attractive, well-behaved, responsible. He has plenty of friends and a large, loving family. He has the perfect life.... except for one little problem. He suffers from a strange compulsion, and it is an affliction that no psychiatrist has ever been able to help him with. He has almost given up hope on being cured when a world-renowned doctor offers to treat him, for free!

Dr. Asaka listens to him and seems to understand him in a way that none of the others ever did. He is tall and handsome and commanding and Mitsu trusts him right away.
