Much better than the first book. There is more action but what's more important the story is significantly better. But again a little slow beginning.

The Good the Bad and the Undead starts in the middle of a run that doesn’t go exactly as planned, and it kind of sets the mood for the whole story. Rachel isn’t exactly a planner anyway, but the things she tries to plan do not happen accordingly. She meets Piscary for the the first time, and is amaz...

A great series with believable characters who beat Anita Blake hands down for sheer believability. I want to know what happens next!

I really wanted to love this series but I am just finding to be OK. This book was very slow paced. While I still enjoyed it I won't be rushing into the next one, although I do intend to continue the series.
