By treachery the son of the Great Eagle shall be removed
and for him the armies of God will mass in the great
oceans and he will be restored and his enemies bowed.
-Nostradamus
In the hollowed corridors of the White House a power struggle at the highest levels of government threatens the President's position. It is time of momentous and dangerous changes across the globe and the storm that always rumbles in the holy land is rising once more. US military intelligence detect strange troops movements in Syria's Golan Heights and southern Lebanon that defy logical explanation and in the mid-Atlantic even stranger and unidentified phenomenon roll slowly to the American eastern seaboard. In the background of this unfolding drama, senior White House press secretary Nick Briginsky is dispatched to United Kingdom by the President on a highly secret errand. When rumor of the errand leaks out the President's mental state is called seriously into question. Inside the White House, the President's enemies make plans to move against him. The international stakes now ratchet up across the world as the US mobilizes its military to meet the unknown threat approaching its territorial waters in the east. And as state of the art US jets are scrambled eastwards into the Atlantic they suddenly disappear off radar and radio contact is lost with the nuclear submarine USS Oklahoma after contact with the phenomena and the White House declares DEFCON 1. America is now at war - but with who?
