I quite liked this book. I thought it was cheeky of Adam to pose as a young kid and influencing Lisa's relationship with Circinn. Adam always seems to have a way of interfering with humans, no matter where he goes. This book seems to be set before "BTHM" But I'm guessing Its just Adam time travelling...

I disliked the ending which is why I only gave this 2 stars. Enjoyed the rest of the book, just thought the HEA was too over the top with perfection to be remotely believable.

Lisa is shocked when, at one of her two jobs, she ends up through her curse of curiosity persay, she ends up being taken back through time, 700 years in Medieval Scotland, with a sword being pointed at her throat. Definitely not what she imagined her day turning out. Circern, when seeing a woman app...

I really want to give this 4 stars, the only thing holding me back is that it dragged in parts. Everyone was right... she's made me love Adam Black :) Can't wait to get to his book! I am truly enjoying this series!

This was the book that got me hooked on Ms. Moning’s highlanders. Wonderful mix of historical romance and time-travel with some contemporary elements, suspense, and some pretty nifty battle scenes.I loved the story, I loved Circenn (as much as I loved his daddy later on), Lisa was absolutely perfect...
