I read this too late (just like Catcher in the Rye & To Kill a Mockingbird). While my friends (and wife!) were reading this, I was reading Terry Pratchett. Go figure. I feel Pratchett is better. But this is still good for a few laughs.

I absolutely love this ever-expanding "trilogy". Every time I read this, I laugh almost endlessly. Douglas Adams's sense of humor is smart, dry, and off the wall... Makes for a great reading experience!A few examples: Arthur Dent's awkward meeting of Tricia McMillan at a party, where the music stops...
Titles are so hard to come up with...
These books totally blew my mind in 7th grade, and I still think they're wonderful.
