Sisters Kate and Emily come to live Hallow Hill after their father dies. The girls don't know of the land's history, of the stories about young girls vanishing and never being seen again. The girls are trying to settle in, but Kate feels uneasy. She feels as if she is being watched. One night, after...

Couldn't put it down. I love 'Beauty and the Beast' anyway so I was bound to like a fantasy book based on the fairy-tale, involving goblins no less!I had a couple of parts that could've been improved to make me love it even more but it was still great :)

What a delightful fairy tale! I enjoyed hearing the story of Kate and the Goblin King. It's a classic story about orphaned girls, a deceitful guardian, and a horrible goblin who turns out not to be so horrible. I do love happily ever after! I'll be looking for the next in the trilogy.

I think the descriptions were pretty great, the world building was nice, but the plot was definitely, definitely lacking. Also, the main confli...

I actually would rate this book a 3.5, but I was feeling generous, so I rounded up. It is a neat little book, good for those who like fantasy, paranormal romance, etc., but it has its flaws, the biggest (for me) being that the ending felt very abrupt, and some things were just too obvious. But it i...

Apparently it is romantic to be imprisoned underground by goblins and forced to bear their children. At least she had her self-centered sister to keep her company till the Stockholm Syndrome kicked in.

I did like this one quite a bit, though it would have been improved, in my estimation, if it were longer and a bit more personal. It has the perfect feel for a fairytale, what with evil guardians, goblins, elves, dwarves, magic, evil sorcerers, demons, transformations, danger and daring acts, not to...
