This will always be my favourite Narnia story. I truly adored Shasta and his horse Bree. Their relationship is great and it's nice to step away from the Narnia we know from previous books and enter into another side of that world.

I liked this book; it was a lot better in the context of the series than it is as an individual book. There was a lot of running to somewhere or from someone/something and not a whole lot of story. But the story that was there did not disappoint. I look forward to the next book!

I would have given this book 3 stars if it wasn't for all the racism. I can forgive a little bit of it because of the timeperiod in which this was written, but it just got too much at some point (the audiobook's narrator even gave them Middle Eastern accents!). I liked the main characters more than ...

It took me some time to finish reading this book because I was super busy with school thing. I'm glad that for this book, it took place at the Southern area Other World. I like it because it is something new apart from places that we already know such as Narnia, the North and Seven Isles. The rest o...

A prince wages war on Narnia. As slave Shasta escapes with a talking horse, a lion shadows their every move. Stars David Suchet.

Ah delightful! I liked this one better the second time than I remembered the first time around. It certainly stands on its own extremely well and the characters are enchanting...and such real kids!

I didn't like it as well as I liked the previous two. However, this fact did not stop this from being a fun book. I liked the adventure and the warrior aspects of this story in particular.

My least favorite of the Narnia books. The thing I loved about Narnia as a child was the portal quest aspect of it; the idea that around any corner there might be a secret entrance to another world, but in Horse and His Boy the entire story takes place in Narnia and no one gets to go and come back....

This has always been my least favourite Narnia book, and I therefore hadn't read it in YEARS. I recently got hold of the entire series as audiobooks, and figured it was time to give it a second chance.Still definitely my least favourite of the books. It just doesn't seem 'right' that so little of th...
