Nope, I didn't read this nor did I rate it 5 stars. This book got butt-dialed into my read list when I was looking up young reader books on my phone. #christmasshoppingfail

I like this series I do. However there are a lot of characters in this book and in order to give them all screentime it felt like they all were shortchanged. Good. Not great.

Good place to end and prepare for next Volume. I did get tired of the endless battles and monsters, but Riordan does his research and myth-lovers will appreciate the details.

This was really good. Parts were amazing. (The last couple of lines were surprisingly . . . beautiful? Not sure if that's the word I'm looking for or not.) Other parts were pretty standard for Riordan, but the whole book sticks together thematically very well. Full review later.

I was anxiously awaiting this book since there was such a cliffhanger in the last book. I still really like the way the point of view changes every few chapters. We get to see what's happening to each of the main characters in two to three different places until we get close to the end where every...
