I wanted to love this, it had all i wanted, an alpha male from FBI and a surgeon in need of help, but i couldn´t. I found myself getting annoyed with how drop dead gorgeous she was, and how often they both got sidetracked in their thoughts, by the tenth time i read "i have to stop.." I had to stop....
It's quite good. I'm not sure yet whether I can say it's great, but it's good enough that I want to try a few more Julie Garwood books and I've put three on order. If you like Brenda Novak or Karen Rose, I can see you enjoying this.
2.5/5 3 stars; B-If this book was written by a new to me author I would probably have given it a solid three and thought 'hmm, here is someone with potential, I will read more of them'. But, since this book is written by Julie Garwood I have higher expectations and am thinking 'hmm, I hope she's n...
Read only if you like Pollyanna "turn the other cheek no matter what someone says or does to you" B.S. The book is filled with terrible/evil people and gutless/spineless weenies. By the end I was rooting for everyone to get murdered. The characters were weak. The suspense was weak. The romance was e...

ok this book was suspenseful and I guess it falls under the suspense / romance category, but I've never read Julie Garwood for anything other the enjoyment of the characters she writes. I adore Ellie and Max and love them together even more. I smiled, I laughed, I cried ok I didn't cry but you get...
