I wanted to love this, it had all i wanted, an alpha male from FBI and a surgeon in need of help, but i couldn´t. I found myself getting annoyed with how drop dead gorgeous she was, and how often they both got sidetracked in their thoughts, by the tenth time i read "i have to stop.." I had to stop....

It's quite good. I'm not sure yet whether I can say it's great, but it's good enough that I want to try a few more Julie Garwood books and I've put three on order. If you like Brenda Novak or Karen Rose, I can see you enjoying this.

Another fun read from Garwood, but not as captivating as I've come to expect from her. I loved Ellie's family and her interactions with the "evil" sister were humorous. But that didn't quite make up for the lack of edge-of-your-seat suspense.

Nice and easy: not too much drama, lots of romantic situations, a simple plot. In other words, straight up fluff.Everything is a bit bland and already seen in thousands of other romances, but this has been the easy read I was exaclty looking for.

I adore Ellie and Max and love them together even more. I smiled, I laughed, I cried ok I didn't cry but you get...
