This was a really sweet, romantic book. It's slow moving but kind of grabs you at the end. I liked also that I know most of the spots she talks about (Davis is about 1/2 hour from me).

I have to say that there were a number of sentences and paragraphs in this book which I enjoyed tremendously. However, as a novel I don't think it hung together very well, and the connection to Austen was tenuous at best.
