The only reason why I'm reading this book was wanting to know what happen in Fireham and so that i could associate physical pain of wisdom tooth with this book. Review later.
Still not sure about this world the author has built. Perhaps...but no; just not keen on the combination of historical and fantasy. Adventure is...interesting. H considers himself beneath h. Something happens to convince him to go for her, then he gets a "Flaw", and goes back to considering hims...
Rating: 3.5 I enjoyed the interactions between the two main characters, Giles and Cecily, but I did not connect with the larger the story about the Rebellion and her father as much as I did in the first book. I loved that Cecily was a strong heroine and Giles a worthy match for her. I wish only that...
