Very cute story. I did enjoy this better than the first book. However, there is too much going on in these books. The Inn becomes the focus more than the main characters. There are too many characters in each scene and they are not adding much to the story. The main focus of the story is the ghost. ...

I actually liked this one better than the first one in the trilogy. I guess I just liked Owen a little better than Beckett and Ryder. It had the usual things that irritate me about these books (the weird/too formal way they talk, for one thing), but it was a sweet story, and it captivated me.I reall...

I love Nora Roberts… she is the reason I love the Romance genre regardless of what age it is directed to. I don’t think there is a single book that she has written that I have not read! That being said, I was a little disappointed in this book, maybe its because I wasn’t really feeling a romance boo...

While I liked this installment, I'm not sure I liked it was much as the first one. It moved a bit too slowly for me. It seemed like it took forever for Owen and Avery to get together. I know that Owen is a planner, but the way they over analyzed their relationship got a bit boring after a while. ...

It was ok. Finding out more about the ghost and her past is fun but not enough to keep me hanging on. It was obvious that Avery and Owen were going to end up together because this was their story. There was a lot of leading up to Hope and Ryder in the next one. I think that one will be more fun beca...

The Last Boyfriend by Nora RobertsOwen Montgomery owned the inn along with his brothers and their spouses, among other buildings in town. The brothers know carpentry and architecture. They had plans to open by Jan 15th and it was closing in on Dec.Avery MacTavish owned and ran the pizza place across...

originally posted on my blog: http://newborrowedused.blogspot.com/2012/06/book-review-last-boyfriend.htmlMy Thoughts: This book is one I think of as a sweet straight river romance. Avery has been in love with Owen since they were 5 years old. Owen played along and even got her a ring from a gumball ...

This second book in the series is an easy, light, enjoyable read. The edge from the first book didn't seem to materialize in this one. I think Hope and Ry could be an interesting story.

For me this book started out rather slow. It took me a little while to get into it. The last half of the book was much better but this definitely was not one of favorite NR books.

This was another heart-warming romance from a master of the genre. Owen Montgomery and Avery McTavish have been friends since they were children. In fact, he was her first boyfriend since she told him they were going to get married when they grew up when she was only six. But over the years, while t...
