I think this story is pretty entertaining. I like the open-ended mystery of it all.

For most classics that I read it is easy to discern how they have stood the test of time and attain their classic status. However, a few titles, like [b:Moby-Dick; or, The Whale|153747|Moby-Dick; or, The Whale|Herman Melville|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1327940656s/153747.jpg|2409320...

This is an entertaining read with a really fantastic sense of time and place. It's delightfully atmospheric and wickedly funny, particularly in Irving's treatment of his main character. I found this story easily digestible and highly enjoyable.

Fun short story by Irving. If you know the area in New York State, you will delight in the details and descriptions of the land and its Dutch inhabitants.

First of all, i understand that this is a book mostly written for youngsters but i didn't thought it to be that much pointless. I'm almost angry at this story for being so irrelevant. I expected a well written tale about a ghost, instead of that I struggled to go through all the description in this ...

One of the rare occasions where I find the movie better than the book. Headless Horseman was not even an important character.
