This was a light and fluffy read-- fluffier than I was expecting, tbh, but perhaps that was because I read it so close to two serious books. Anyway! Kate is an unfortunately stupid teen detective; definitely not a Veronica Mars or Nancy Drew. More like a Shaggy, if anything-- only she's more fashion...
