I listened to this on audio tape during a 7 hour drive. I loved it. The twist on a childhood favorite was brilliant.

Absolutely loved this book! I'm guessing Burton must've read this before he made his Alice -- pity he didn't adapt Beddor's version to the letter. Beddor brings to life a Wonderland that is just as breathtaking as Carrol's, and never fails to put an interesting spin to beloved characters (except may...

GAAH!!! Frank Beddor, how can you insult Lewis Carroll, who is a genious author compared to you!? I so don't understand that! Why do modern-day authors have the audasity to question and twist-around well-loved classic stories such as Alice in Wonderland!? That's what made me hate this book the most!...

3.5 ish stars. A enjoyable, re-imagined, inventive take on the classic books, "Alice in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking Glass." And because I love that book, I had to pick this up. It was really good. It starts off pretty good then there is a part in the first hundred pages that is ok, but not the best. But after I passed that part I didn't want to put the book down.

I really wanted to like this book. I really did. I love all things Alice and I adore steampunk. This book seemed like it was calling out my name. But the more I read, the more disappointed I became. I plugged through it, in hopes that it would get better, but it never did. I even tried to force my w...

Rewrite of Carroll's Adventures in Wonderland. Exciting tale, sometimes over the top, but none the less fun to read. Not sure if I have enough interest in this Wonderland's future to read the next book in the series.

wow, i liked it! towards the end it started to not make much sense... but other than that: entertaining, exciting, imaginative, original. the interpretation of alice in wonderland is very interesting.
