When Darakin, an elemental mage of the Kwagl realm, is accidentally summoned to a strange world full of unknown technology, he finds himself overwhelmed and, worst of all; his elemental summoning magic won’t work here. After reciting a translation spell, Darakin meets Mrowley, the cat. Armed only with Mrowley’s company and limited knowledge of the human world, Darakin sets off to find work and to search for a way home. His strange accent lands him a job as a bouncer in a pub that employs illegal aliens. There he meets the beautiful Nora. As he falls in love with Nora, he learns that he wasn’t the only creature summoned from his realm.
