I have never read a book by Sherry Thomas before. You can now bet your sweet patooties I will be snatching up as many of her books I can find. You want a smart, realistic, and willing to sacrifice for her family but NOT martyr herself heroine? DONE. You want a closed off, hidden, Ideal Gentlem...

Everyone gave this great reviews going in so, of course, ever the pessimist, I was skeptical. Shame on me. I loved it. I was rather upset when I was having such a good time and the characters were so much fun but then I found myself crying because of a big ol' emotional pit in my tummy, but I carrie...

Sherry Thomas delivers as usual. No surprises there. Felix, our hero, had an unpleasant childhood, but rather than turning into a rake, like most of other bodice ripper heroes, he decides to do the opposite and become the Ideal Gentleman. Do not read this book unless you're willing to forgo an evening and all the useful things you could have done with your time (it's perfect, however, as a tool for procrastination). I wasn't looking for a new romance author to enjoy, but Sherry Thomas just threw the doors open, barged in and kept me ...

I hate the word "delightful." It feels like such an insipid word, but fuck it, if you ask me to sum up this book in one word, right off the top of my head, delightful it is. Simply put, this book made me happy, this book made me smile. In a 3-bear rating system, this book would be Baby Bear to my G...

This was so much fun!I wish all HR characters were written like this: as rational, pragmatic people. Louisa has several unmarried sisters, and a widowed mother, therefore she must marry, and marry well if she wants to be able to assure they'll be cared for - especially her youngest sister, who suffe...
