This is feeling like a 3.5/3.75 read for me.Characters and world were interesting and it was a fairly quick pace.
I liked the pace of this one, and I loved the voice of the MC. I felt like it was unique and provided something different for readers. This will be the first book in awhile where I'm actually planning on reading the whole series.
The premise of this story–a city that runs on magic–is fascinating, and I loved the descriptions of the city itself.
