I was undecided about giving this book a 3 or 4 star rating. It's a pretty depressing story all the way through but it's still a pretty good story. It didn't blow me away, but it was still a good book.I want to watch the movie now to see how it compares.

This was my longest audio book yet (14 CDs!). I may have tired of this slow-moving novel if I'd read it in paper format, but in audio it was easier to keep going. It was a good story, but very descriptive, which is what kept slowing the story down.
