A disappointing read and one of those very rare instances were I much preferred the film to the book. I had wanted to read this book for ages and although I finished it, it was a struggle from beginning to end as I never really connected with any of the characters.
Made it halfway through the book. She's a good writer, but the story just wasn't going anywhere.
Well written magic-realism story that keeps you engaged and guessing throughout!
