This is my favorite of all of Ed Abbey's novels. Lots of hijinks and shenanigans and commentary on "progress" and bureaucracy in general. I've read this one twice.
Let me just say I don't advocate blowing up dams. especially considering where I live, or driving heavy machinery over a cliff.
