This book is a bit slow at times, but still, looking back, quite a lot is happening as it becomes increasingly difficult to find food not just for themselves but also a couple of kids they have rescued, and then get lost. The end is nearing, and it is clear from this book. One more to go!

As with the others, a lot of fun, a lot of action and teenage angst. I like the premise for these books, but it's a bit repetitive. However, they keep you reading and it feels a bit more real and dark than some other YA books.
