AHHH. The beauty, drama and giddiness of teenage love, and I must admit that it was a fun and feel good read although it kinda felt like a slap on the face because I never have one in real life, I think I have left out a lot of things in my teenage years, eh? I read this in one sitting and wanted to love this book, I really did but the magic just wasn't there for me. I always enjoy Echols easy style of writing which flows nicely and makes for both enjoyable as well as fast reading. Her characters have depth even if I don't always like them (Addison) and ...

More on the bubble gum end of the scale than some of Echols's recent work, but still thoroughly enjoyable. Max and Gemma are both flawed but wonderful, and I could see myself enjoying this book again and again.

The One That I Want is no different.Gemma has lost 50lbs and made the majorette, but her "best friend"...
