This series can be hit or miss for me. I love the world that Harrison has built and there are some excellent secondary characters. Really, there's so much that I do like about it that it should be one of my absolute favorite series. But I cannot stand the Rachel/Ivy dynamic. It was a big part of t...
I still haven't recovered from what happened to Kisten... and even though three months have passed for Rachel since the events of the last book, she hasn't either. But she is trying. Of course, even when she is trying to piece her life together, more circumstances beyond her control arise to make it...
An emotional roller coaster that kept me at the edge of my seat the entire time! Tons of action and some exciting but shocking revelations make this one my favorite book so far! I have a love/hate relationship with Rachel and her attitude in this book (especially towards Trent) is a great reminder o...
What I've enjoyed about this series is it is still very fun and enjoyable, I'm not tired of the characters, and they continue to grow. This started out slow for me, then picked up.
I am enjoying this series. It's fun, exciting, and there are some interesting characters. I especially like Jenks and I enjoy his creative pixie cursing..."Tink's (fill in the blank with practically anything).
I love this series. I can't wait to read the next book because I love seeing how everything is turning out. So many horrible things keep happening to Rachel. It makes the books very exciting. She does reconnect with Marshall, a witch she met previously. But it's only been a couple of months sin...
Great series! Rachel is snarky and a kick a$$ chick! Jinx is hysterical and Ivy is a real bada$$! I may be crushing on Al, I know he is a demon but he is just so funny!Terrific concept and truly entertaining tale!
Gives great insight into Al's world. I hadn't expected it to be before Ceri's became his familiar, but it was nice to see their interaction. I'm not sure I'll ever be able to trust Al again, mind you, but it was interesting.
this is another great novel by a great author. I love this series and The Outlaw Demon Wails just reinforces it. I can’t wait to see what happens next and the relationships Rachel finds herself in (new and old) can only get more interesting. For my full review, click here.
The Outlaw Demon Wails seems to be a bridge book in The Hollows series, and maybe that is why I thought this book was the weakest in the series. There are some resolutions to questions that have been building in the books, such as the Ivy/Rachel relationship and how exactly Rachel can do some of th...
