As this book was written in the 1920s, it's what you might call...a bit racist. So that was awkward, but not out of touch with the times, and the plot was very good. I really enjoyed this book. I also recommend the movie. Each has something a little different to offer.
Titles are so hard to come up with...
not at all what i expected, but hardly anything is anymore. the first few chapters were slow, but it was well worth reading them to get to the good stuff. Kitty's epiphanies helped me to come to a few of my own...
