While The Peach Keeper didn't have as much magical realism behind it as some of Sarah Addison Allen's other books, I still enjoyed reading it. This was a very sad, yet very heart-warming story about loss, friendship, and growing into who you are.The characters were all cute. Even the crotchety grand...
Unfortunately, The Peach Keeper lacks the magic that made Garden Spells such a breath-taking read. And by magic, I mean that in both a literal and metaphorical sense. Literal because Allen is renowned for her magical realism contemporaries and, sadly, this novel lacks the magical component of that t...

Yet another beautifully surprising novel from one of my favorite authors! Twists and turns, romance and history... I think I still like The Girl Who Chased the Moon a smidgen better but this was also a great read!

Ms Addison Allen's works always leave me smiling. Magic, romance a bit of mystery and great characters seem to be her trademark. There was also, great narration for this audiobook, which is always a story maker/breaker for me. 4 Stars

In college, she majored in literat...
