Maybe,this book doesn't deserve 4 stars,but since I enjoyed it a lot, and whenever I picked it up,it was hard to put it down.I gave it 4 stars!It isn't as good as the the first book,but as much entertaining.A good sequel to The City of Ember.It was great to follow the adventures of Lina and Doon.
Well, it was a good continuation of the story of the people of Ember and of Lina and Doon in particular. Very interesting as a study of what life could well be like after a nuclear holocaust has devasted the world, but I still feel it lacks a personal touch.
