I appreciated the maturity of this sports romance. At times, I felt like it dragged, and there were times the teenaged son of the main character felt like he was 11 which was distracting. Overall, I enjoyed the read enough to continue with this author. (It was my first Jaci Burton).

Man, I sometimes wonder how books get published. This unfortunately is one of those. The writing isn't great and the sex scenes were so badly written they were laughable. While I was able to get through it quickly I can't say I really enjoyed it... Mick is the quarterback of an NFL team. He's focu...

There is nothing quite like the trepidation that comes with starting a new book series. You are faced with a load of unanswered questions as you look at that first book cover. Am I going to like it? Will the next book be as good? Should I even invest any time into the series, let alone this book? ...

I really did enjoy this. Although some plot points you could see a mile away. There were unfortunately some cringe worthy words and sentences within the sex scenes. I always get second hand embarrassment and think 'that' word? Why that word?

I may have just bought this book because of the cover. I had a moment of weakness and the cover looked like the book had a lot of realism, drama, and a whole lot of tense romance. But I was wrong. The cover said one thing, but the contents of the book said another. The Perfect Play is in fact a well...

Just a quick note on the cover: I own the paperback of this and, dude, is it shiny, and has hot diggity dang as the image suggests, and man, it just makes a girl want to stroke it. Yeah, it was defo the cover that made me snap this one up. My Review I’m not 100% clear on my feelings about this one. ...
