I didn't even think about the rating for this book until the story took a bit wobbly turn towards the end and I immediately dropped a star from then four star rating in my head. Well, that wobbly turn and the speshul snowflake neon signs the author dragged out. Other than that, I feel like I shoul...

I usually love coming-of-age stories, but there is a desperation to be profound here with a clutter of subjects like suicide, domestic abuse, drug use, abortion, homosexuality, depression, and molestation that all fail to be executed in any sort of meaningful way. There are ways to make it work, too...

Me gusto como fue cambiando mi percepcion hacia Charlie. Como entendí lo que le pasaba y porqué.Me angustie con sus crisis de panico y lagrimié con sus frustraciones.Es un libro muy lindo

I don't want to give anything away, so I'll just say that while there are many things I'd like to change about this book, I understand why the author made those choices.

It's always difficult to review a book when so many people love it and you...don't. Because so many people have praised this book, I went into reading fully expecting to be blown away. I was not. In fact, the first time I attempted to read The Perks of Being a Wallflower, I made it about 100 pages i...

Wow...this book was amazing. There were so many subjects in it that made your really think, and empathize with the characters. It's seriously such a moving story. Charlie has such a unique voice, and his perspective is so innocent, yet convoluted at the same time. I'm just in awe of this book. It's ...
Projections of a Bibliophiles Mind
I didn't really know what to expect with this book, I kept hearing about how great it was all over the internet so I decided to give it a read without ever reading the summary. This book really captured me for different reasons. The first reason is that in my opinion this book is really well written....
