I really enjoyed this book and read it really fast. Only thing that disappointed me was the end - the last few paragraphs totally confused me and i really didn't understand the ending. if it weren't for those last few lines...the book would be awesome.
This was the first Shreve book I ever read. I recall really liking it, but I've become more critical of books since then, so I probably wouldn't like it as well if I read it now.
