This seems to be the week of murder novels for me. This reminded me a bit of Mr. Peanut; there is a secret here (besides the murder/who-done-it) and the novel opens with the scene in which Karen's secret threatens to be revealed.I found the constant "da-dums" at the end of chapters to be annoying. ...
I have really enjoyed this book. Somewhat twisted and partly mouth-opening. It was definitely one of those books that you knew with the way the story was going, it wasn't going to end well! It did slightly remind me of another book that I just read which was an excellent debut called Sherry and Narc...
