This was a beautifully written story. I loved the characters that came into Peekay's life and helped shape the man he became. It was a really heart warming novel.

This book is truly an epic novel, following Peekay's journey from a young boy into a young man. One of the best books that I've ever read -- Bryce Courtenay is truly a talented writer.
