This book was a good introduction to the series. I liked all the characters (with the exception of the ones who were portrayed as unlikeable, like Lana). I thought that this book was written as if an actual teenager wrote it.

No i w końcu mi się udało. Dopiero po kilkunastu latach, ale obietnicę, którą sobie złoży...

You will have tons of money, live in a beautiful castle, have forever loyal servants, and of course, be famous. I, myself, w...

Young adult book. Mia Thermopolis is a ninth grader living in Greenwich village. She thinks that her life is pretty normal -- despite the fact that her mom is famous and her dad is rich. She still struggles with school, hangs out with her friends, lusts after boys. Then she finds out that her dad is...

Re-read after a couple of years I remembered I liked this book a lot, so I got a copy to re-read it. And I have to say, 4 stars was not enough. Meg Cabot is a wonderful writer. And not in the 'profoundness' way, but in the 'this-is-a-great-way-of-spending-the-evening' way. She always writes about aw...

I've been reading a lot of nonfiction and academic type stuff lately so I thought it was time for some absolute fluff. I read a few in this series when I was 13 or 14 and I remember liking them well enough. I recently saw a box of my books with this in it at my dad's house so I thought I'd revisit. ...
