It's hard to choose a rating for this book. All of the characters were pretty one note, especially Sophie, and not particularly likable. On the other hand, the author did an excellent job redeeming Pauline and the entire last section was very emotional. In the end, I did like it and I'll probably re...

I am really disappointed in this book. When I set to read it, I thought for sure it was minimally going to be 4 stars from me. It is still a great read..it just didn't give that extra little kick to get the extra star. At points, the book was even kind of boring!
