The recent college graduate needs a real job; the miserable professional wants an unreal one. This book, then, is for professionals who have the energy to get out, but want to be spared any syrupy, predictable advice on how to do so. In other words, it is short on inspiration, long on reality, as I, of course, see it. Alright, there is a little advice towards the end, but hopefully none that will make you want to punch me in the face, or wash your mouth out with water because it is so sweet and cloying.
