The short version: Not enough Jean. Also, spoilers. This is really well put together, with some lovely scenes, and some outright beautiful writing at moments. There are laughed out loud moments masterfully blended into bleak scenes. And yet. I find myself easily giving 4 stars to this book whi...

Absolutely blown away. It got pushed back and pushed back and it was annoying as all hell some days waiting for so long. But it was well worth the wait. I just hope it doesn't take forever to see The Thorn of Emberlain. I can't wait to read about more of Locke and Jean's (mis)adventures.

[Might contain a few small spoilers.]Well, I stayed up until 4 am finishing the book, slept for a few hours in which I dreamt about it, then woke up and tossed and turned thinking about the story until it aggravated me enough I had to write about it. I just don't know where to start because there's ...
