Hello my dear readers!Thank you for buying and reading my book. Writing a book is a long and lonely process, so when i send a new story out there, i love to hear from my readers their honest opinion about this. If you really loved-it, a review on Amazon - even one line to let others know what you thought of the book - will be highly appreciated. The Sacrifice of a Hero is about betrayal, love, dark battles and a journey to find the impossible. When everything seems to be hopeless, when every sense of love dies with Frayne after his best friend betrayed him, will he be able to trust again? In 1190, King of Northumberland found out that he desperately needed the Thunderous treasure that existed on a high mountain to save his land from Vikings’ raids and from financial chaos. Frayne Albinson accepts the king’s top secret mission in order to find the treasure that will help in the salvation of the country and the entire land of England. But Frayne’s most faithful friends betrayed him and led the king to rush and sentence his loyal warrior to be burned in front of all the people to death. Frayne was offered a chance to escape, yet he refused to decide to face his death and he chose to offer his soul to Aka, the god of the Vampires. It was all absurd and Frayne only thought of taking his revenge by converting as many people as he could into vampires, but it all changed when Frayne’s destiny brought the beautiful lady Adeline Cumberbatch to his path while she was fighting in war in place of her brother after stealing a warrior uniform. The human inside Frayne started to wake up when Adeline got closer from him threatening him to kill him as she thought he was her enemy. Her uniqueness and brave heart started to ignite love emotions within his heart again. And what gave Frayne a hope was the fact that Adeline told him he could get back to his initial life and become mortal again. Yet, to be able to do so, Frayne must resist the growing urge to consume any kind of human blood, however, what happens when Adeline sacrifices her own blood and allows her lover to drink freely of her blood? On the other hand, Adeline had her own sorrows of the past, she was young when her peaceful village was pillaged and raided by the ferocious Viking Heathens, she was taken as a slave with her brother to the Earl, she grew up with him until one day, the wild young woman sacrificed herself and went into the place of her brother to fight with the Vikings in that a raid, but learning that the price of her freedom was to forget that she was a woman and live as a man. It was in that war Frayne met Adeline when he was on his way back to clear his name and to reclaim his father’s property. So he made a proposition that she would live in his house until she would find a way back home, but after entering his village and finding an enemy attacking its gate, Frayne managed to defend his people and reclaimed his father’s castle, however living with his younger brother who fell in love with Adeline made the latter want to escape without telling Frayne, she didn’t want to cause him much trouble especially after he became mortal again, she didn’t want him to have any quarrel with his brother, but Frayne caught her down and found out about her escape plan. He flew into a rage and volunteered to take his beloved back home since it was her own wish, yet, spending countless nights with the beautiful girl, he learns that she was an heiress in her village and who was captured as a slave so he sympathized with her story and decided to accompany her to the very end, hoping that her parents didn’t die. Frayne surrendered to her love and expressed that he wanted her for his own, but when they arrived at the girl’s original land, the matter may not be what it looks like.Your friend,Michelle
