So he made a proposition that she would live in his house until she would find a way back home, but after entering his village and finding an enemy attacking its gate, Frayne managed to defend his people and reclaimed his father’s castle, however living with his younger brother who fell in love with Adeline made the latter want to escape without telling Frayne, she didn’t want to cause him much trouble especially after he became mortal again, she didn’t want him to have any quarrel with his brother, but Frayne caught her down and found out about her escape plan. He flew into a rage and volunteered to take his beloved back home since it was her own wish, yet, spending countless nights with the beautiful girl, he learns that she was an heiress in her village and who was captured as a slave so he sympathized with her story and decided to accompany her to the very end, hoping that her parents didn’t die.
