I started to read this at my mom's one day when I was bored and it was lying on the coffee table. Didn't even bother to read the back so I had no clue what I was reading, though I knew the author. It turned out to be pretty good! The Search is a romantic thriller about a woman, Fiona, who 8 years ag...

Some of the reviews here are brutal, which is a mystery to me. I happen to love dogs but didn't think that was at the basis of my interest of a story about a woman dog trainer. Fiona Bristow is a survivor who has recreated herself following pretty tragic circumstances. She relocated herself to Orcas...

I will preface this by saying that I do enjoy Nora Roberts and she is probably one of my favorite authors. However. Sometimes (okay, often) I feel like she has a computer template with a general plot filled out, and she just comes up with a theme, characters and a setting and "plugs them in." Thi...

I really enjoyed this book and the fact that it's set in my home state is a plus. However I wasn't happy with the ending of the book. The ending with the way Eckle was captured was rushed in my opinion. Other that I have no complaints about it.

Bad chick-lit with added serial killer - I ask you!blurb - Talented search and rescue dog trainer Fiona Bristow escaped the clutches of a serial killer several years before, but not before he murdered her fiance and her beloved dog. She has retreated to a cabin in the ...

Im a NR fan.. Ive read most of her stuff... I love her paranormal romace trilogies (Three Sister, Circle and the Isle ones)BUT (and this is a big one) THE SEARCH reminds me of a novel by Iris Johansen (there was a woman and a bunch of search and rescue dogs involved.)Now, don't get me wrong, Ms. Rob...

With some books you're torn between wanting to race on so you'll know how the story ends, and slowing it down so it'll last longer. I never managed to slow it down with this book.

I never thought I'd be adding a Nora Roberts book to my favorites shelf. I can usually only take Roberts in small doses, and don't know what compelled me to try this book. The synopsis sounded intriguing, I thought it was worth a shot. I am SO glad I picked this one up!This book had everything - ...

I liked this one a bit more than I have recent single titles of NR. For once the heroine didn't grate. And all the teaching/information about this heroine's job didn't feel like I was getting a lecture on this particular profession as I have in some of her previous books.Maybe because the dogs wer...

This book was a hit right from the start for me. After reading the blurb before I knew I was going to enjoy reading Nora Roberts newest romantic suspense and I was right. The beginning of the story really pulled on my heart strings and set up a beautiful start to a totally wonderful story.I thoroughl...
