Fred and Rosematy West were serial rapists and killers who created their very own 'house of horrors' when they murdered young women and girls, and concealed their bodies under their house at 25 Cromwell Street.

In total, at least 12 young women were killed by the couple of by Fred West alone, including some members of his own family. Most of these murders were committed in the mid to late 1970s, and in addition to the Cromwell Street house, several bodies were buried in another house that the couple inhabited at the time, at 25 Midland Road.

When the pair were eventually caught, Fred West escaped justice by committing suicide while awaiting trial. Rose West was sentenced to life in prison. Finally, the house in Cromwell Street was demolished.
