Lynn Redgrave did a terrific job narrating this book. I know it's an abridged version but still a very good story. I wish there would have been more about Penelope and Richard, maybe there was in the actual book. I cared more about their story than any other in the book.
I read this ages ago. I am not sure I would want to read it now, but I do know that I really enjoyed it back then. I have added a shelf for this kind of book - "fluff".
