I enjoyed reading about Bree Tanner's life, although it was a difficult read for a fan who knew how it would end before it began. It was interesting to experience Stephenie Meyer's brand of vampirism from the point of view of a vampire who hunts in the traditional fashion, and a newborn at that. The...

I am truly in awe of the fact that throughout TWO retellings of the circumstances surrounding a huge, cataclysmic, apocalyptic WORLD SHATTERING BATTLE OF THE TITANS, STEPHENIE MEYER CANNOT BRING HERSELF TO ACTUALLY DETAIL A SINGLE SENTENCE OF THE BATTLE ITSELF!!! AAARGH!!!

I didn’t expect much from this, and yet, I expected more. The Eclipse film actually sparked my interest in the story of Bree Tanner, and I bought the novella shortly after–it sat on my shelf for what seemed like forever (which is how it ended up my dusty bookshelf challenge), just because I wanted t...

I did like Bree a little. It was interesting to see her POV as a vampire that was interested in humans.

It is almost sacrilegious to say something negative about Meyer's books. I didn't like this one as much, maybe because I was expecting it to be a sequel of Bella and Edward, which is not. They are mentioned by the end but that is it. Also, I had no idea who Bree was and kept wondering what she had t...

I loved this book. At first I was a little hesitant. I am really glad I kept reading. Although I thought towards the end I was going to be unhappy if it end the way it was going. It couldn't have ended any better. I really hope there isn't anymore written this perfect the way it is.

It was alright. I didn't think it was super bad, nor did I think it was great. I am kind of interested to see if the Fred vampire character ever shows up in any novellas of his own. I don't remember him from any of the rest of the Twilight series (it's been a while since I read them, though). He was...

Believe it or not this was actually a decent story. I can honestly say I liked it. I am no fan of Twilight due to the storyline of the series. However, this short novella had a sufficient plot, interesting details, and Bree was actually fleshed out as much as can be expected from a novella character...

I really liked seeing Eclipse from Bree's eyes. I was really sad when she 'died' but I think that it made the whole series feel more real, that there was a casualty. I think it was an intersting look into a day and a life of this newborn army that makes them more 'human' than just a mindless killing...
