A war has begun.
Alliances shift everywhere they look as Bella and Sander navigate the treacherous landscape. Passions ignite, engines roar, and the dark streets churn with gunshots and screams.

A pair of discoveries bind them together...
Murderers and traitors emerge from the shadows, and a pair of stunning secrets leave Sander and Bella reeling.

... and tear them away from everyone they've ever known.
Betrayed by their adopted families and hovering on the brink of mortal danger, Bella and Sander are left with nothing but their grit, their strength - and each other. Will it be enough?

EXCERPT

“I’m ready to do the same. That doesn’t mean I like it.”

“I don’t like it either.”

“Why does everything have to be so hard?”

“I don’t know Bella but I’m sure that once all this settles it won’t be.”

“I was thinking about things. I know we said we should take this city over, Sander, but with us facing murder charges and everything else, I don’t see how we can. It’s not just that, either. Garrett killed this city. He made it rotten. I don’t want any part of what was his, not anymore. I want something that I built, that we built.”

He stopped in the street and pulled her in for a long and heated kiss that stole her senses and made her body press closer to his. Would she ever get enough of this, of him? Maybe if she lived a thousand years...

When they broke away he said, “Look at us, Bella, we’re walking down a street with a bag of guns. We’re going to go in blazing and if we go down, we are going down the same way. And do you know something else? “

She was still a bit dazed from the kiss. “What?”

“I think when this is over, if we are still alive, I am going to put you in the nearest bed and keep you there all damn day and night.”

“That sounds damn good.” Bella tightened her grip on the gun bag and said, “So let’s live through this shit storm, shall we?”
