Well not too much to say about this one besides it was ultimately a disappointment. I thought I was going to get into a psychological thriller about tihe ins and outs of a marriage. I think in the end I didn't like this book because I didn't have sympathy for "the silent wife" or Jodi. She just pass...

Jodi is going to kill her cheating husband, Todd. No spoilers that’s in the first few pages, what follows is a slow burning dual perspective book. The two main characters were believable and intoxicatingly toxic. This book is dark and twisted and while it’s a slow burn it didn’t feel like it was dra...

I plowed through this slow-burning domestic drama today. You're told from the first few pages (and the back cover) that the prim wife who narrates half the book will soon murder the philandering husband who narrates the other half. Told in perspective-alternating chapters, we're left waiting and won...

They were just psycho...narcissists.The climax and the ending were very flat. Don't waste your time.

I listened to the audiobook and I actually fell asleep listening to it. To be fair, I think I lost interest because of the narration, not because of the writing. This is one of those books that I'm going to have to come back to.

The way she sees it, generosity is admirable but not always practical. Without some discreet retaliation to balance things out, a little surreptitious tit for tat to keep the grievances at bay, most relationships -hers included- would surely combust in a blaze of resentment. If you like your main c...

not too much to say about this one. Not sure I would recommend - but it might be your thing.

Quick review for not such a quick read, but still a captivating one. I'll admit I picked up A.S.A. Harrison's "The Silent Wife" because it was rec'd to me by my library for follow-up reads to Gillian Flynn's "Gone Girl". I'm not going to evoke any other comparisons to the latter work other than that...
