2.75 stars ...close to 3, but not quite. To be perfectly honest, I think I've debated between 3 stars & 4 stars for most of the stories within the Chronicles of Narnia...except perhaps The Magician's Nephew. The Silver Chair is certainly not as good as it's predecessors (chronologically speaking, si...

I really love Eustace and Jill. The task of rescuing Prince Rillian is original and a nice step away from the Narnia shown in the movies.

Arriving in the enchanted land of Narnia, Eustace and Jill must find a missing Prince. Stars Paul Scofield and David Suchet.

Truth to say, I'm not really this book rather than the previous installment because truthfully, I found less exciting with the adventures. This time, this book hasn't included the Pevensies. Eustace, who'd traveled to world's end with Prince Caspian (or King Caspian in this book) and a new character...

It was okay. Nowhere near as good as I had hoped, but good. I found Jill to be stereotypical whiny girl, and the Emerald Lady to be too easy to defeat to make it a good story. The only truly likeable characters were Eustace and Puddleglum. This was one of the first Narnia books I actually got excited...

There is absolutely no reason to not fall in love with this book. It was the sweet school story of a boy and a girl, and also a new, exciting adventure. It was incredible in its unmistakable message - which I won't tell you - and it was a story I will never, ever forget. So please, for your own sake,...

As much as I enjoy this book, I'll say the Pevensies have always been my favorite characters in The Chronicles of Narnia, so having a book centered solely on Eustace and Jill doesn't make me LOVE the book in the same way. I did really enjoy the introduction of Jill and it was nice to see Eustace pos...

My personal favorite of the Narnia books. Puddleglum was Lewis' best character ever; and the confrontation with the Lady of the Green Kirtle was basically fideism vs reductionism.
