Nese heals souls that past over and have unfinished business. Along with her mate Deagon who is a Dragon/Guardian. They travel from the dead to the living, and back again, helping those who need it. Upon their last trip, they pick up a lost soul, or so she thought. Now Nese is needing the love of her Dragon more than normal and her thinking has took on a new life of it's own.

In the world of the dead, things aren't always what they seem. The healers have the mate of the Dragon, Nese has her pet Kot, which is part tiger and kola. Her people plant. Her best friend Lep, is also a healer and her mate Guathan, is also a Dragon.

Nese was lead to believe Lep left the lost soul behind, but once she finds out what she was told, isn't true, she must talk to the head master before it is to late.
