This was much more intense and angsty than I've come to expect from a Megan Derr fairy tale. It was nice that we got to know Diggory and Prince Adalwin right from the start, and we know they're supposed to end up together (and, of course, being a fairy tale, we know that they eventually WILL end up...
Very enjoyable read :)I loved how Diggory was a victim, but managed to grab himself together and put things right. The fairy tale feeling and world building really fit well with the characterisations. And... I think I fell in love with Adalwin a bit.

A nice short read. Although I had questions about how the curse worked (is it correct in assuming Diggory could talk about his curse but not directly to the persons involved and it wouldn't kill him? Also when he was overheard talking about it, it didn't kill him so does that mean he could have writ...
A wonderful little freebie about a prince who has been cursed and cannot explain who he is without fear of the curse kicking in and killing him. He goes by his nickname, Diggory, and works in the stables of his fiance while trying to lift the curse and save his intended from marrying an imposter.
