The back and forth between present time and flashback was a little confusing at times. This was a quick read though. I thought it was a good summer YA book, but not sure if I will finish the series?
♥_♥Oh. My. God. This book is the perfect summer book..like seriously. The. Best. Summer. Read. I've never read a book so fast yet this summer. I loved all the characters,; Belly, Jeremiah, and especially Conrad. Oh Conrad ;) I just hope in the next book he loosens up a bit.Onto the next book! :D
I think I may be rating books too high right now. But I loved this on audio. Normally, I find long pauses annoying, but this was perfect. Belly's narration sounded pretty valley girl, and though I'm not sure exactly where Cousin's Beach is supposed it be, it worked really well. I, too, couldn't deci...
The first time I came across this series was when one of the bloggers I follow reviewed the final book of the trilogy, We'll Always Have Summer. Gazing at the three covers of the series, my immediate reaction was "Oh God my heart, wait those are the heartstrings not heartburn, but either way Oh God ...
When I was asked to review this I knew right away it would be a book that I would enjoy. However, I never expected to fall completely and utterly in love it. I mean I seriously adored this book from start to finish. It is just a perfect little gem that would be a great summer read. (Sadly I stay in ...
This was a nice, quick, easy read...not a lot of substance, but a decent entertaining book. I couldn't figure out what was wrong with these kids, but understood Belly's feelings that this would be their last summer at the beach house as a group - as much as it's a part of life and growing up, nobody...
Have you ever felt like the ugly duck? Belly always was know as the little sister but that's about to change.Belly is all grown up and she is ready to have a pleasant summer with her two favorite boys.Beck's boys.So different and so equally fragile. If you think this all about a summer romance you're...
Wow - loved this! Perfect blend of angst and nostalgia and drama and beach and memories. I didn't know, however, that it has a cliffhanger ending - now I have to rush out to pick up the next book!!!
It was a quick, easy read (which is good, considering the massive stack of library books that I have to get through in the next few weeks!), but I didn't love it. Read my full review here: http://writergrrlreads.blogspot.com/2012/01/summer-i-turned-pretty-jenny-han.html
